WATCH: KSR’s Rapid Reaction to Kentucky WBB’s 42-point win over Queens
Everything that could have went wrong for Kentucky, went wrong against North Carolina, but the opposite was true on Monday.
After a 19-point loss in Chapel Hill, the Cats bounced back, beating Queens 87-45 in what was a dominant performance from the tip to the final buzzer.
Georgia Amoore led the charge with 20 points on the night — her third 20-point game in the blue and white. Amelia Hassett wasn’t too far behind, scoring a season-high 19 points on 7-14 (3-9 3PT) shooting. She recorded six rebounds and three assists as well.
Clara Strack and Teonni Key each scored in double-figures after not playing their best against the Tar Heels. Strack had 16 points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals, while Key had 12 points, 13 rebounds and four assists to add to the stat sheet. It was just good, all-around game to build Kentucky’s confidence back up heading into the Purdue game.
Watch as we give our Rapid Reaction to the 42-point victory.
