Top-100 national recruit Myron Charles plans to attend Florida-Tennessee game

You can add another big name to the list of expected visitors for next Saturday’s Florida-Tennessee game at the Swamp. Myron Charles, a 4-star defensive lineman and the No. 95 recruit in the country for the 2025 class in the On3 Industry Rankings, said Sunday he plans to attend the game.

“(The Gators) are recruiting me pretty heavily and I’m really taking to all the coaches,” Charles told Gators Online.

It won’t be his first Gators home game.

“I went to two or three games freshman year and I was just happy to be there. First team to invite me to watch a game and was the first college game I went to,” Charles said.

Where do things stand with Myron Charles, a standout at Port Charlotte (Fla.) and the Gators?

“I guess (this visit) will help maybe give me a better idea of where they stand with me — see if I feel the love while I’m there,” he said. “I think the Gators had a rocky start but they are well-coached with a lot of dogs on the team so I definitely think they will bounce back. I’m not to sure where they sit with me just yet.”
