Michigan OL Amir Herring plans to enter NCAA transfer portal
Michigan offensive lineman Amir Herring plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Herring appeared in one game last season to earn his varsity letter. He also preserved his redshirt and has four years of eligibility left.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Herring was a four-star recruit out of West Bloomfield (Mich.) High, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 4 overall prospect in the state, the No. 19 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 311 overall prospect in the class.
