GoldandBlack.com video: Purdue players discuss the start of summer practice

Tuesday afternoon, just a little more than two months since ending its season in the national title game, Purdue returned to the floor to begin summer practice.

The Boilermakers did so with a strong core returning, but also a half dozen or so new faces, as Tuesday was the first time the freshmen suited up. (Center Daniel Jacobsen is not on campus yet after winning gold with USA Basketball in Buenos Aires.)

Coach Matt Painter was not present on Day 1, as he’s taking part in a clinic associated with the NBA Players Associaton Top 100 camp. Assistant coach P.J. Thompson joined him.
