2025 OT Lamar Williams decommits from Miami

Quincy (Fla.) Gadsden County three-star offensive tackle Lamar Williams has decommitted from Miami, he announced on Thursday.

He was pledged to the in-state Hurricanes since Feb. 2.

Williams is the No. 506 overall prospect and No. 33 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 67 player in Florida.

First and foremost I want to thank Miami for accepting me into the family. After careful consideration I will be De-committing! This is only to give myself a fair chance to evaluate all options to make sure I am making the best decision for me and my family! My recruitment is 100-percent open. I see a lot of false narratives going around but I can’t focus on that,” Williams wrote on X.
