On3 RPM: One of the Midwest’s best to Oregon

Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic On300 2025 running back/athlete Dierre Hill Jr. was back at Oregon over the weekend for the Ducks spring game.

And the new Big Ten program continues to be the one to beat for one of the Midwest’s most exciting playmakers.

With that, I’ve logged an On3 RPM prediction in favor of Dan Lanning and the Ducks.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Hill had an outstanding junior en route to winning Gatorade State Player of the Year Honors. He rushed for 1,788 yards and 23 touchdowns averaging 13.6 yards per carry. He also returned two kickoffs for scores, caught a touchdown pass and threw for a TD. Defensively, Hill registered 32 tackles and three interceptions, returning two for touchdowns.

Hill also attended junior day in Eugene back in January.

“My experience was everything I expected it to be!” Hill said at the time. “The facility was great and everything was literally nice! I got to experience something amazing.”

Oregon is battling the likes of Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Georgia.

“What excites me about my opportunity is that I could be somewhere special there as they show me and tell!” Hill said.

The On3 Industry tabs Hill as the nation’s No. 6 athlete and No. 140 prospect overall.

Lanning and the Ducks are looking to sign a second-straight top five class. They currently rank No. 13 in the country.

Ra’Shaad Samples is leading the charge in recruiting Hill to Eugene.
