Oklahoma sets “new standard” in recruitment of On300 QB Jaden O’Neal

Long Beach (Calif.) Narbonne On300 2026 quarterback Jaden O’Neal visited Oklahoma last week and the Sooners are setting the pace early in the blue-chip passer’s recruitment.

“I had a blast at the University of Oklahoma,” the 6-foot-3, 200-pound O’Neal told On3. “There were many things that stood out to me, but the one thing that stood out to me is the passion the coaching staff has into developing their football players on and off the field. They were very genuine and real people. Being on campus and talking to the staff I can relate to them. I’m looking forward to continuing building the relationship.

“The comparison is unmatched and Oklahoma just set the new standard,” O’Neal said. “The only few schools to be close was UCLA, Miami, but I still need to unofficial visit those schools

Besides the schools mentioned, other early offers for include UCLA, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Louisville, Oregon, Oregon State, California, Florida State and Kansas.

As a sophomore O’Neal completed over 60 percent of his passes for 2,475 yards and 27 touchdowns. He added another three rushing scores.

Besides O’Neal, another rising junior quarterback Dereon Coleman out of Lakeland (Fla.) Jones who will be on campus soon.
