He wanted to see how things run in Athens.
“I went back to be able to see the actual practice and how they run it,” McCoy told DawgsHQ.

Every time he’s on campus, Georgia’s staff makes him feel at home. McCoy feels that Georgia will be in his recruitment for the long haul. That is why he’s hoping to get as many looks at the in-state program as he can as his recruitment unfolds.

McCoy was offered by former Georgia defensive backs coach Fran Brown. Brown is now the head coach at Syracuse.
Georgia has since hired Donte Williams as the new defensive backs coach. Travaris Robinson moved from Alabama to become Georgia’s co-defensive coordinator.
