As Big Ten media days commence here at the Target Center in Minneapolis, preseason polls and picks begin to hit the market, Purdue being particularly at the forefront this year.

The Boilermakers are the clear preseason Big Ten favorite and Zach Edey obviously the league’s preseason player-of-the-year. That comes from the Big Ten’s own media balloting as well as the conference’s media conglomerate’s now-annual unofficial poll, organized by kind souls Adam Jardy and Brendan Quinn.
