MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Stars maybe aligning… Posted by Hooracane

Based on the parity in college football this year, I think we may have a real opportunity to make serious progress this year. IF and that is a big “IF”, we can stay healthy and win our games with Clemson and UNC, I think we could actually be in the playoff discussion by the FSU game. While I’m not expecting or predicting that will happen at this point, I would not be shocked if that is how it shakes out. We obviously have to take care of business along the way BUT based on what I have seen this year, why not us? Why not now? Just getting into that discussion would be a monumental boost for our recruiting down the stretch. Can you imagine that after a 5-7 year?

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I always appreciate the sport, and it was kind of an eye-opener, you kind of take stuff for granted. I don’t take the game for granted, but coach (Lance) Guidry always says it can always be your last game so go out and give it your all. (The injury) put it in perspective. It was great being on the sideline – I’d rather be out there playing – but watching guys ball out regardless, Jaden Harris stepped up tremendously. I didn’t see a drop-off between me and him being out there.”
