Zack Martin expects to ready for training camp despite soft tissue injury

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Zack Martin expects to ready for the start of training camp despite a soft tissue injury that has kept him out of OTAs and minicamps, he told the media Tuesday.

Martin is considered one of the best offensive guards in recent NFL memory. The 32-year-old who played his college football at Notre Dame has played nine seasons in the NFL since being drafted with the 16th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

During that span, he has made eight Pro Bowls, six All-Pro first teams and two All-Pro second teams. The one season he did not make a Pro Bowl team or an All-Pro team was in 2020 when he played in 10 games.
