Yohandy Morales crushes home run to add insurance run versus Louisiana in elimination game

Miami third baseman Yohandy Morales is putting the Hurricanes on his back Sunday in their elimination game versus Louisiana. The latest example came in the seventh inning when he crushed a 0-1 pitch over the batter’s eye in centerfield for a solo home run.
The homer gave Miami a 6-4 lead.
It was his second homer of the weekend. He also hit a home run Friday in the Hurricanes’ 9-1 victory over Maine.
Right-hander Alejandro Rosario was doing his best Robin impression to Morales’ Batman. He pitched six innings with seven hits, four runs, three earned runs and two walks with six strikeouts
“He’s throwing strikes,” DiMare said in the fourth inning. “He was up a little bit early in the game, but he’s getting some more ground balls. Of course, this team does a lot of action things. They had a first pitch hit and run there and got something going. I think we had him out at the plate if we would have caught the ball there. But they’re an aggressive team so we got to keep the leadoff guy out. That’s very important with teams like this.”
