They took shots down the field. His arm strength is as advertised. There are a couple plays… he took a couple of delay games. He threw an interception, which, again, we don’t have the benefit of a broadcast to go back and look at it for a few days, but it looked like a miscommunication between him and Channing Goodwin.

“But overall, he ran a little bit. This is a 17-year-old kid who looks like a college quarterback. Good baseline set today.”

Sayfie replied: “One of the things that’s interesting in these formats is that Bryce Underwood’s legs are one of his better attributes. His athleticism is off the charts, and he’s not really allowed to run. He gets tagged off. They counted it as a sack, probably a couple times. He would have gotten out of one of those tackles, something like that. So it hurts him there. And then he only had the one scramble you mentioned. He had a long run, kind of came back up the middle, found an alley, then split it off to the left. ..That was a dazzling play and improvisation from him.

“They let him uncork it a little bit. He did have the one touchdown late on the trick play…But I thought Bryce Underwood looked really good. Some things to clean up, right? His team took two delay-of-the-game penalties. Some holding penalties aren’t his fault but those were on the offensive line.”

Watch or listen using the video player above, on our YouTube channel or listen wherever you get your shows.

The post Michigan spring game reaction: What we learned in first look at 2025 team appeared first on On3.

ANN ARBOR – The Michigan Wolverines held their annual spring game on Saturday afternoon in…

[1

post-88427","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
