On300 quarterback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/gavin-sidwar-178868\/\">Gavin Sidwar<\/a><\/strong> announced his commitment to Missouri on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The four-star passer also strongly considered Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Ole Miss during his process.<\/p>\n<p>Sidwar spent two days in Columbia this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe coaches have high expectations for the program,\u201d Sidwar said. \u201cThey feel like my skillset fits their style and expect I\u2019ll come in and be a guy in the future that can help achieve their goals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMizzou is a place that I feel like can develop me on and off the field and I get to compete with and against some of the best football players in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Sidwar becomes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/missouri-tigers\/football\/2026\/industry-comparison-commits\/\">commit No. 3 for head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers in the 2026 recruiting class.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As a junior Sidwar completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for 2,747 yards and 31 touchdowns to just six interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>The On3 Industry tabs Sidwar as the No. 16 quarterback in the country and No. 247 prospect overall. Drinkwitz, Kirby Moore and the Tigers offered after watching him throw in January. He raved about his visit earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was one of the best visits I\u2019ve been on,\u201d Sidwar said. \u201cCoach Kirby Moore and I see offense very similar.
