And now, on the same day the now-former Volunteers quarterback officially entered the <strong>NCAA Transfer Portal<\/strong>, the SEC Network firebrand doubled down, this time directing his ire at Iamaleava\u2019s \u201cgreedy\u201d family. <\/p>\n<p>During a conversation about the Iamaleava-Tennessee divorce with a caller identified as \u201cKO from New Jersey\u201d on Wednesday\u2019s <em>The Paul Finebaum Show<\/em>, Finebaum unleashed a strong rebuke of Iamaleava\u2019s family, taking particular aim at Iamaleava\u2019s \u201coverbearing father,\u201d Nic Iamaleava.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re talking about a greedy family who didn\u2019t think $2.4 million was enough and the overbearing father \u2013 yeah, I said it \u2013 stuck his hand where he should\u2019ve left it out because he already tried to shake Tennessee down in December,\u201d Finebaum responded after \u201cKO from New Jersey\u201d attempted to empathize with the Iamaleava\u2019s situation. \u201cSo he tried to shake them down again, and guess what, somebody finally stood up to the bully and \u2018Screw you, buddy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Iamaleava, a former 2023 five-star signee out of Long Beach, Calif.,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/tennessee-volunteers\/news\/tennessee-qb-nico-iamaleava-enters-ncaa-transfer-portal-has-do-not-contact-tag\/\">officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Wednesday<\/a>, five days after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/news\/tennessee-volunteers-quarterback-nico-iamaleava-in-active-contract-negotiations-ahead-of-2025-season\/\">NIL negotiations<\/a>\u00a0broke down between his representatives and Tennessee officials late last week.
