The four-day, 12-game tournament tips off the NBA Draft process, with representatives from every NBA team in attendance to find the next under-the-radar star. One former Kentucky Wildcat will be in attendance, playing alongside a former Louisville Cardinal.

Andrew Carr and Chucky Hepburn will suit up for Portsmouth Sports Club, one of eight teams in the PIT. Also on the roster: Moussa Cissa (Memphis), Cameron Matthews (Mississippi State), Adama-Alpha Bal (Santa Clara), Joe Bamisile (VCU), Chance McMillian (Texas Tech), and Earl Timberlake (Bryant). They’ll be teammates now, but Carr had 10 points and 9 rebounds in Kentucky’s win over the Cards on Dec. 14, while Hepburn totaled 26 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds before fouling out in Rupp.

Carr is the only former Kentucky player participating in the PIT, but there are lots of other familiar names. Wade Taylor IV (Texas A&M) and Jaemyn Brakefield (Ole Miss) will play for Team Mike Duman; Igor Milicic Jr. (Tennessee) and Chris Youngblood (Alabama) are teaming up for Jani-King (“The King of Clean”!); and Jonas Aidoo (Arkansas), Nolan Hickman (Gonzaga), and Sean Pedulla (Ole Miss) will play for K&D Round’s Landscape Services. Remember Great Osobor? The big man who considered Kentucky last season but went to Washington instead will play for Portsmouth Partnership alongside Tennessee guard Jahmai Mashack. After ending his college career playing for John Calipari at Arkansas, Johnell Davis will strut his stuff on Sales Systems, Ltd. with former Villanova guard Wooga Poplar. (Can you tell I’m having fun with the team names?)

The official rosters for the 71st annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (2/2) pic.twitter.com/FWwEqW7gtO

— P.I.T. He was limited by back problems during the midstretch of the season but rounded into form as the season drew to a close, scoring in double figures in five of Kentucky’s final eight games. In his five-year college career, Carr totaled 1,647 points (including 117 three-pointers) and 827 rebounds across stops at Delaware, Wake Forest, and Kentucky.
