Tucker (Ga.) four-star EDGE CJ Jackson<\/a><\/strong> has committed to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He announced the news on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He picked Georgia tech over Alabama<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Clemson<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0South Carolina<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0LSU<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Texas A&M<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Auburn<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Oklahoma<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Georgia<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Colorado<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jackson is the No. 191 overall prospect and No. 14 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/strong><\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.\u00a0He is also the No. 29 player in Georgia.<\/p>\n

On3 rates Jackson higher than other recruiting services, according to the\u00a0Industry Comparison<\/a>. Per the\u00a02024 On300<\/strong><\/a>, he is the\u00a0No. 75 overall prospect, No. 7 EDGE and the No. 13 player in Georgia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always felt like I was capable of getting these offers and doing everything that I\u2019m doing now,\u201d\u00a0Jackson told On3\u2019s Jeremy Johnson<\/a>\u00a0last November. \u201cI feel like hard work pays off. That\u2019s something that I believe. I\u2019ve seen my mom work hard to accomplish the things she\u2019s accomplished. Hard work pays off. Not to sound cocky, but I knew one of these days someone was going to take a chance. It\u2019s opened up the floodgates.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson first visited Georgia Tech last March. The Yellow Jackets extended him an offer on Jan. 3 and he was back on campus a few weeks later.<\/p>\n

He would return to Georgia Tech again in April. <\/p>\n

CJ Jackson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $68K<\/a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry\u2019s leading index that sets high school and college athletes\u2019 projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete\u2019s value at a certain moment in time.<\/p>\n
