UCF<\/a><\/strong> transfer guard Jaylin Sellers<\/a><\/strong> is down to his top four schools, a source told On3\u2019s Joe Tipton<\/a><\/strong>. Cincinnati<\/a><\/strong>, Georgetown<\/a><\/strong>, Illinois<\/a><\/strong> and Providence<\/a><\/strong> are the finalists.<\/p>\n

Sellers only appeared in three games this past season due to injury after an impressive first year at UCF in 2023-24. He averaged 15.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while starting 32 out of 33 games a year ago.<\/p>\n

Sellers started his college career at Ball State<\/a><\/strong>, where he jumped into a starting role as a sophomore. He averaged 13.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game that year before entering the transfer portal<\/a><\/strong> and committing to UCF.<\/p>\n

Jaylin Sellers played high school basketball at Montgomery (Ala.) Carver<\/a><\/strong>. He is currently the No. 31-ranked shooting guard to enter the transfer portal this cycle, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sellers is one of five UCF players to enter the transfer portal since the window opened following the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. One of them is guard Mikey Williams<\/a><\/strong>, and On3\u2019s Pete Nakos<\/a><\/strong> reported an early school to watch for him in the portal.<\/p>\n

UCF\u2019s season isn\u2019t over, though. The Knights are currently getting ready to play in the inaugural College Basketball Crown<\/strong>, which gets underway in Las Vegas on Monday. There is also NIL<\/a><\/strong> money at stake<\/a><\/strong> in the event.<\/p>\n

The College Basketball Crown and\u00a0Vivid Seats<\/strong>\u00a0announced $500,000 in endorsement opportunities for the top four teams in the bracket as part of Vivid Seats\u2019 newly launched ambassador program. Teams that lose in the semifinals would each receive a $50,000 NIL package, and the runner-up would receive $100,000. The winning team would receive $300,000 in NIL ambassador deals.<\/p>\n

FOX Sports announced the launch of the College Basketball Crown last year, featuring teams from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East, and it was initially billed as a rival to the\u00a0NIT<\/strong>. All told, 16 teams will participate in the event:\u00a0Utah<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Butler<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0George Washington<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Boise State<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Nebraska<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Arizona State<\/strong><\/a>, Georgetown<\/strong><\/a>, Washington State<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0DePaul<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Cincinnati<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Oregon State<\/strong><\/a>, UCF, Colorado<\/strong><\/a>, Villanova<\/strong><\/a>, Tulane<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0USC<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

UCF will begin the College Basketball Crown on April 1 against Oregon State. That game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
