For the first time in a few years, Kentucky women\u2019s basketball is headed back to the Big Dance. <\/p>\n

The Wildcats secured a 4-seed<\/a> in the upcoming 2025 NCAA Tournament<\/strong>, meaning they\u2019ll host the opening two rounds in Lexington at Memorial Coliseum. Kentucky will first take on the 13-seed Liberty Flames in the opener Friday (tipoff TBA) with a possible second-round matchup against the winner of 5-seed Kansas State and 12-seed Fairfield on Sunday.<\/p>\n

After learning their path, a few Wildcats took to the podium and answered questions from the media about the matchup and team expectations going into the tourney. Head coach Kenny Brooks<\/a><\/strong>, fifth-year point guard Georgia Amoore<\/a><\/strong>, and sophomore center Clara Strack<\/a><\/strong> all spoke with reporters to provide their thoughts.
