On Thursday, Rich Eisen<\/strong> and Daniel Jeremiah<\/strong> wasted no time addressing the elephant in the room during the NFL Network\u2019s broadcast of the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. While introducing fellow analyst Ian Rapoport<\/strong>, Eisen joked about Rapoport making headlines due to his reported altercation<\/a><\/strong> with FOX Sports\u2019 Jordan Schultz<\/strong> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is one other member of our broadcast team that we got to bring in and he is the Jake Paul of NFL Network. Lots of buzz. He is trending with no punches shown,\u201d Eisen said.<\/p>\n

According to a report from Pro Football Talk\u2019s Mike Florio<\/a>, Rapoport and Schultz had a verbal altercation at a Starbucks in Indianapolis \u2014 the city hosting the NFL Scouting Combine \u2014 on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Florio cited \u201cmultiple sources\u201d that watched the emotionally-charged altercation between Rapoport and Schultz inside the Starbucks located inside the Indianapolis JW Marriott, where Schultz allegedly accosted Rapoport, according to Florio.<\/p>\n

Florio reported Rapoport was involved in a private conversation with an agent inside the Starbucks when Schultz \u2014 ironically the son of former Starbucks CEO\u00a0Howard Schultz<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 approached the NFL Network newsbreaker and told him: \u201cWe need to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rapoport reportedly shut his FOX Sports counterpart down cold: \u201cWe don\u2019t need to talk,\u201d according to Florio\u2019s reporting.<\/p>\n

Schultz then allegedly lobbed several accusations at Rapoport, according to Florio\u2019s sources, as the two NFL insiders were face-to-face in the coffee house.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you have anything to say it to me, say it to my f*****g face,\u201d Schultz reportedly told Rapoport, according to Florio\u2019s account of the incident. \u201cIf this continues, we\u2019re going to have a f*****g problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rapoport then asked Schultz to step back from him, to which Schultz reportedly shot back: \u201cIf this happens again, we\u2019re gonna have a f*****g problem. Now I\u2019ll step back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rapoport didn\u2019t allow the altercation to stop him from doing his job, and embraced Eisen\u2019s jests in stride on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, Rich. I would say I\u2019m properly caffeinated. A lot of great coffee brands. Dunkin\u2019 does a really nice job,\u201d Rapoport said, poking fun at Schultz and his Starbucks connections. \u201cI could go on and on about the coffee brands that I love but that\u2019s not for right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Rapoport concluded his report, Eisen wrapped up the segment with a few hilarious coffee puns.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the latest right there from a venti amount of information, from a fine Americano, Ian Rapoport,\u201d Eisen said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got the beans here on NFL Network.\u201d<\/p>\n
