How did Otega Oweh<\/a><\/strong> do that? Some players struggle when they return home. Others thrive. Otega Oweh did both of those, and so much more, in an improbable 83-82 win over Oklahoma. <\/p>\n

The former Oklahoma Sooner struggled in the first half. He was only 2-7 from the field and consistently failed to finish through contact. It was a completely different story in the second half. <\/p>\n

Oweh scored 21 of the Wildcats final 23 points, including 18 straight and the game-winner at the Noble Center. He finished his night with a career-high 28 points. It\u2019s the most points ever by a Kentucky Wildcat against his former team. <\/p>\n

The last player to make a field goal for Kentucky was Amari Williams<\/a><\/strong> with 12:51 to play. Oweh was just a man possessed. It did not matter the degree of difficulty, he was going to find a way to will the ball in. <\/p>\n

Oweh wasn\u2019t the only impressive player for the Cats. Brandon Garrison<\/a><\/strong> had a dozen points, including a pair of made threes, and three blocked shots.<\/p>\n
