He is listed as out for their game against Texas on Wednesday evening (Feb. 26) and will continue to be evaluated, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RazorbackMBB\/status\/1894902385748627955\">Razorbacks Twitter page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Surgery is not expected. And there is no timetable yet for his return. He\u2019s been one of the Hogs\u2019 biggest stars in the 2024-2025 campaign, stuffing the stat sheet with 15.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He also has been shooting 54.8% from the field, while drilling 26.2% of his three-pointers.<\/p>\n<p>Arkansas currently sits at 16-11 overall and 5-9 in the SEC. The Hogs and Texas are set to tangle on Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Thiero averaged 7.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in 2023-24 for the Kentucky Wildcats. He shot 49.2 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line. <\/p>\n<p>Thiero officially\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/kentucky-wildcats\/news\/kentucky-forward-adou-thiero-enters-ncaa-transfer-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\">entered the portal<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0March 28 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/news\/adou-thiero-kentucky-transfer-visit-pitt-portal\/\">cut his list to five schools<\/a>, including a potential return to Kentucky. He also\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/transfer-portal\/news\/report-kentucky-transfer-adou-thiero-trims-list-to-five-schools-including-return-to-wildcats\/\" target=\"_blank\">considered<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Arkansas,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/indiana-hoosiers\/\">Indiana<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/north-carolina-tar-heels\/\">North Carolina<\/a><\/strong>, in addition to Pitt, On3\u2019s\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/user\/joe-tipton\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Tipton<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0confirmed in late April.<\/p>\n<p>Thiero played only seven minutes in the NCAA Tournament against\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/oakland-golden-grizzlies\/\">Oakland<\/a>, a game that Kentucky lost 80-76. He finished with 2 points and 1 assist on the night.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the Class of 2022, Thiero was a three-star recruit out of Leetsdale (Pa.) Quaker Valley,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/news\/on3-industry-ratings-rankings\/\">according to the On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
