Alabama<\/a><\/strong> SF Derrion Reid<\/a><\/strong> has been ruled out Saturday\u2019s game against Kentucky<\/a><\/strong>, according to the SEC injury report<\/a>. Guard Mark Sears<\/a><\/strong> is also listed as probable.<\/p>\n

Reid was listed as doubtful for Alabama\u2019s last game against Missouri<\/a><\/strong> after re-aggravating a hamstring injury in the previous outing against Auburn<\/a><\/strong>. Head coach Nate Oats\u2019<\/a><\/strong> press conference was cut short<\/a><\/strong> due to a fire alarm at Mizzou Arena, and he didn\u2019t give an update on Reid\u2019s status after he missed the matchup.<\/p>\n

Sears is a new addition to the injury report this week with an undisclosed issue. However, he\u2019s listed as probable, which bodes well for his chances of playing in Saturday\u2019s high-profile matchup.<\/p>\n

Alabama is looking to get back on track after back-to-back losses. The Crimson Tide fell to Auburn over the weekend despite a late comeback in what became ESPN\u2019s most-watched game<\/a><\/strong> of the season. Then, a few days later, Alabama dropped a shootout against Missouri \u2013 marking its first time losing back-to-back games this season.<\/p>\n

The Crimson Tide will now get ready to take on a Kentucky team that\u2019s also dealing with its share of injuries. Guard Lamont Butler<\/a><\/strong> and forward Jaxson Robinson<\/a><\/strong> are both out for the matchup as the Wildcats look to stay above .500 in SEC action.<\/p>\n
