An arrest has reportedly been made in the car thefts yesterday<\/a> involving Miami\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> Carson Beck<\/a> and Hanna Cavinder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Andy Slater this morning, a man has been arrested for stealing the vehicles. That was after four others in total apparently broke into their home while they were asleep and took their keys.<\/p>\n

\u201cSLATER SCOOP: One man has been arrested for stealing Carson Beck\u2019s cars, sources tell me,\u201d Slater tweeted<\/a> on Friday. \u201cThe 20-year-old and three others allegedly broke into Beck\u2019s home while the Hurricanes QB and Cavinder were sleeping. They went into the living room wearing masks and took the keys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Three cars were eventually taken per reports with Beck having a Mercedes and a Lamborghini and Cavinder having an SUV. The SUV was found first while the Mercedes was found later in the day<\/a>. However, the Lamborghini has seemingly yet to be found to this point.<\/p>\n

Slater also reported other details<\/a> of how the thieves did this. They came in through the garage late on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, took their keys inside the home, and drove the vehicles away.<\/p>\n

Cavinder bought the Range Rover to match<\/a> within the last month or so to match with Haley Cavinder<\/a>, her twin sister. Beck had purchased the Lamborghini within the last year as well in February of 2024. However, the home would also be new<\/a> with Beck having transferred to The \u2018U back in January.<\/p>\n

Beck came to Miami after five seasons spent at Georgia<\/strong><\/a>. He, the No. 1 QB<\/a> and overall player in On3\u2019s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players<\/a>, completed 68.6% of his throws for 7,426 yards, 52 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions as the Bulldogs\u2019 starter the last two years.<\/p>\n

Cavinder is then back with the Hurricanes for this season on the court. She\u2019s averaging 6.7 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.2 rebounds as a full-time starter alongside her twin sister who is the team\u2019s leader in points and assists.<\/p>\n
