Waunakee (Wis.) three-star tight end Rob Booker<\/a><\/strong> has decommitted from the Wisconsin Badgers.<\/a><\/strong> He announced the news on Twitter. <\/p>\n

Booker had been committed to the Badgers since Jan. 31.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder is the No. 470 overall prospect and No. 30 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/strong><\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

On3 rates Booker significantly higher than other recruiting services, according to the\u00a0Industry Comparison<\/a>.\u00a0He is No. 262 player in the country, the No. 15 tight end and No. 3 player in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Booker\u2019s decision comes a few weeks after he took an official visit to Madison. Booker had been recruited by former Wisconsin passing game coordinator Gino Guidugli<\/a><\/strong> before Guidugli left the staff to become the new quarterbacks coach at Notre Dame.<\/p>\n

Rob Booker currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $30K<\/a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry\u2019s leading index that sets high school and college athletes\u2019 projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete\u2019s value at a certain moment in time.<\/p>\n

An updated look at Wisconsin\u2019s 2024 class<\/h2>\n

With Booker\u2019s decommitment, the Badgers now have 15 pledges in their 2024 recruiting class<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The group is highlighted by a pair of four-star recruits in Algonquin (Ill.) Harry D Jacobs tight end Grant Stec<\/a><\/strong> and Royersford (Pa.) Pope John Paul II offensive tackle Kevin Heywood<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Badgers\u2019 group ranks as the No. 25 class in the country and No. 5 in the Big Ten. They\u2019re well ahead of where they finished the 2023 recruiting cycle with the No. 47 class in the country.<\/a><\/p>\n
