The incident occurred in the final seconds of the Musketeers\u2019 win over the Hoyas.<\/p>\n<p>As time began to wind down Tuesday night, Georgetown attempted to get one final shot off before the buzzer. It missed, but when it did, Cooley was starting to walk toward the fans behind the basket.<\/p>\n<p>Xavier\u2019s athletics director <strong>Greg Christopher<\/strong> was part of the group to break things up. Cooley eventually walked away toward the handshake line.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"HadQiPFXhYgGJ35STBZ168CpteKwyzuNDAmbfx9q2RUlrnVOL7MIWj40oE\">\n<p>Xavier beats Georgetown 74-69, but there was a wild ending at the Cintas Center. <\/p>\n<p>Hoyas coach Ed Cooley got into an altercation with a Musketeers fan.
