It was a tough 2024 NASCAR season for veteran driver Kyle Busch<\/strong>, and the 2025 season has gotten off to an equally frustrating start at the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray.<\/p>\n

Busch was the victim of an early wreck when Daniel Suarez<\/strong> bumped Noah Gragson<\/strong> into his rear, causing Busch to spin out.<\/p>\n

The driver of the No. 8 car had to hit pit road as a result. And coming out of it there appear to be issues.<\/p>\n

Kyle Busch came out on the team radio noting he \u201ccan\u2019t f***ing turn,\u201d according to The Athletic\u2019s Jordan Bianchi<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the trouble steering, Busch has given up ground to the field and has been lapped twice. At the time of this writing, 79 of 200 laps had been completed, though the race was under caution at the time and only green flag laps count.<\/p>\n

Ty Gibbs ramps off Justin Haley<\/h2>\n

Kyle Busch wasn\u2019t the only one having a tough day at Bowman Gray on Sunday evening. <\/p>\n

During the Last Chance Qualifier, Ty Gibbs<\/strong> was spun by Justin Haley<\/strong>. In his attempt at retaliation, he stepped over the line a bit. The No. 54 Toyota Camry went airborne as Gibbs ramped off of his NASCAR<\/strong> <\/a>rival.<\/p>\n

After failing to transfer out of the LCQ, Gibbs spoke to the media. He meant to hit Haley, but he wasn\u2019t trying to ramp his car into the air.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, I just had a little left front damage and gave him a little tap, but didn\u2019t mean to make it that big,\u201d Gibbs said, via Jeff Gluck of The Athletic<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

When asked about the hit from another reporter, Gibbs was honest. None of the hits feel good in this car.<\/p>\n

\u201cStiff, but they\u2019re all pretty stiff in this thing, so.\u201d<\/p>\n
