An 18-year-old man is on life support after falling from a light pole during celebrations in the aftermath of the Philadelphia Eagles\u2019 NFC Championship Game victory over the Washington Commanders this past Sunday, per Sharrie Williams of ABC 6<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The man fell from a light pole on 5th and Market streets in Center City Philadelphia. He was taken to Jefferson Hospital with a brain injury from head trauma.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker<\/strong> warned fans not to climb light poles during celebrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t want to be in a celebratory moment, you know, have a tragedy occur,\u201d Parker said. \u201cPlease don\u2019t climb the poles.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the 55-23 win over Washington, the party was on in the streets of Philadelphia. But that party turned into something very different \u2014 in some cases such as this one. According to\u00a0TMZ Sports<\/a><\/em>, two men \u2014\u00a0Jose Moya<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Eugene Dennis<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 are behind bars over allegations of assaulting police officers who were working NFC Championship Game detail, per the Philadelphia Police Department. Another man \u2014\u00a0Tramayne Davis-Blockson<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0was placed into custody after he allegedly stabbed someone in the leg following a verbal altercation.<\/p>\n

At least two people were shot over the course of the celebrations. A 20-year-old man was shot and taken to a hospital in stable condition, while a 39-year-old man suffered graze wounds to his chest and stomach. Rebekah DeShields<\/strong>, 26, was arrested after crashing her car into a crowd of people and injuring eight. In total, four fans were arrested and 31 were issued citations<\/a> for disorderly conduct or failure to disperse.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did also have some assaults on our police officers,\u201d Parker said Monday. \u201cYou don\u2019t want to be, you know, in a celebratory moment and have a tragedy occur. You don\u2019t want that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo please, please don\u2019t shoot guns in the air.\u201d<\/p>\n
