The Ducks were knocked out by Ohio State in the quarterfinal round, but boast the best final record in college football with a 13-1 record. Oregon was ahead of Texas by a decent margin, 1255 points to Texas\u2019 1211.<\/p>\n<p>Teams from Texas\u2019 2024 campaign to finish ranked included No. 1 Ohio State, No. 6 Georgia, No. 7 Arizona State, and No. 14 Clemson. Michigan, Florida, and Texas A&amp;M were in the receiving votes category.<\/p>\n<p>The Longhorns were the highest-ranked team from the SEC in the final poll. No. 6 Georgia, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 11 Ole Miss, No. 17 Alabama, No. 19 South Carolina, and No. 22 Missouri joined Texas in the final top 25.
