ANN ARBOR, Mich. \u2013\u00a0The Michigan Wolverines<\/a><\/strong> moved to 13-3 on the season and 5-0 in Big Ten play under first-year head coach Dusty May with a 91-75 win over the visiting Washington Huskies on Sunday afternoon at a packed Crisler Center.<\/p>\n

The Wolverines were in control most of the way en route to its 8th-straight performance of scoring 85 points or more. After the contest, May and two of his Michigan players \u2013 graduate center Vladislav Goldin<\/a><\/strong> and graduate guard Nimari Burnett<\/a><\/strong> \u2013\u00a0recapped the win that kept the Wolverines perfect in conference play.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u200aI thought we did some nice things overall for a choppy Sunday afternoon game,\u201d May said. \u201cI don\u2019t think either team would have been pleased with the flow of the game, but also we both contributed to it where we\u2019re changing defenses. We\u2019re going zone to man. We\u2019re both in the limited foul trouble. And so just an odd game.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut throughout a 20-game Big Ten season, you have to be able to play a lot of different styles, a lot of different ways. And we got something done today. It was nice to have Roddy Gayle Jr. back in the lineup. I thought his second-half intensity was a big difference in how we came out after halftime. We need we need to continue to stay strong, healthy, and, and figure out different ways to win and figure out different ways to play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also speaking to the media for the first time was freshman forward Oscar Goodman<\/a><\/strong>, a member of the 2025 class who signed in November and is beginning his college career early. He will be with the team the rest of this season and redshirt before being fully ready for the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n
