After the Sugar Bowl\u2019s<\/strong> postponement, ESPN<\/strong> moved its coverage back accordingly. That included a SkyCast<\/strong> on ESPNews<\/strong> \u2013 although things didn\u2019t go as planned.<\/p>\n

The broadcast malfunctioned during the first half and continued to have technical difficulties after the camera turned around. After some time, the traditional ESPN broadcast took over the rest of the way.<\/p>\n

At the time, Notre Dame<\/a><\/strong> and Georgia<\/a><\/strong> were tied. The issues happened as Sean McDonough<\/strong> and Greg McElroy<\/strong> were assessing the fallout of a costly sideline penalty on Bulldogs walk-on Parker Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Georgia went on to take the lead on that drive with a field goal from Peyton Woodring<\/a><\/strong>. However, Notre Dame responded with a field goal of its own from Mitch Jeter<\/a><\/strong>, and he drilled another with 39 seconds left in the first half to make it a 6-3 Fighting Irish lead.<\/p>\n
