As Softball America grows its coverage at all levels, we continue our recruiting spotlight series with Abbi Million. The catcher from Kentucky recently committed to Lipscomb University.<\/p>\n
Name: Abbi Million<\/strong> What is your favorite travel ball memory?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n My favorite travel ball memory was the first time I was able to experience the Louisville Lady Sluggers organizational workout at the Colorado Sparkler. It was a very surreal moment seeing numerous coaches behind the backstop watching us showcase our talent with the dreams of playing at the highest level.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the most important thing you\u2019ve learned from a coach?<\/strong><\/p>\n Coach Huecker reminds us to always have fun and to play for the name across our chest. We play our best when we relax and have fun.<\/p>\n How did you get interested in softball?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n I fell in love with the game during our community little league seasons. Through that, the love has evolved to a bigger stage playing at the national level. I fell in love with being involved with every play and being able to lead my team to victory.<\/p>\n What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n My strengths as a player is my ability to lead the field in any circumstance. I am trying to improve my confidence in the box to produce for my team.<\/p>\n What player(s) do you look up to the most?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Kaylee Tow and Kayla Kowalik.
