There was only one game in the NBA on Monday, but it was a good\u2019un. Not only did Karl-Anthony Towns<\/a><\/strong> hit the game-clinching 3-pointer with six seconds to go for the New York Knicks to get the win over the Toronto Raptors, but he also had the go-ahead layup just a few plays earlier. Oh, and he also had the key defensive stop right before hitting that aforementioned 3, which was from 29 feet.<\/p>\n

In addition to Towns\u2019 clutch performance down the stretch, KAT had a great overall game. The former No. 1 overall pick finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks. That\u2019s not a bad night. Karlito must be proud.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Immanuel Quickley<\/a><\/strong> did not play for the Raptors, as he is still out with an elbow injury. He could return in the next week or two, as reports suggest<\/a> his target comeback timeframe is mid-December.<\/p>\n
