The redshirt sophomore finished sixth on the team with 37 tackles; he also recorded 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack and three pass breakups. The Fort Lauderdale product started eight of the 10 games he played in this season.

Graham’s decision likely was influenced by Florida State coach Mike Norvell’s decision to not retain linebackers coach and interim defensive coordinator Randy Shannon for the 2025 season. In a social media post last week, Graham credited Shannon with talking him out of “quitting” earlier this season and also called him a “legend.”

“I wanted to quit earlier this season,” Graham posted. “You picked me up, kept believing in me, and got me up out of that hole I was in. Forever grateful for you.”

Graham will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Cooper actually is leaving Florida State for the second time. The senior defensive back began his career at Florida State in 2021 and started several games at cornerback during his first two seasons. He then transferred to Colorado for the 2023 campaign but chose to come back to FSU as a safety in 2024.

Because he only played in four games this season, Cooper can transfer elsewhere with one year of eligibility remaining.

Durojaiye leaves after just one year in Tallahassee, and he likely will be moving on to his fourth school in four years. The defensive lineman redshirted as a freshman at Kentucky in 2022, played in 13 games at West Virginia in 2023 and then saw limited action this fall at Florida State.

He was one of several transfers who were expected to play significant roles for FSU in 2024 but never met those expectations. Durojaiye recorded 23 tackles, including 6.0 for loss and 3.5 sacks, during his one year at West Virginia, but never worked into the main rotation with the Seminoles. He played in just four games and recorded three tackles.

The expected departures of Graham, Cooper and Durojaiye bring the current count to seven Florida State players planning to enter the transfer portal. Three others — Azareye’h Thomas, Darrell Jackson and Joshua Farmer — have announced intentions to enter the NFL Draft.

On a more positive note, Florida State is expected to be a very active player in the transfer portal market this winter, and the Seminoles already have one high-profile target already planning to visit.

Liberty quarterback Kaidon Salter, who passed for 1,886 yards and 15 touchdowns this season while also rushing for 587 yards and seven more scores, is planning to visit FSU, Syracuse and Colorado. Auburn and UCLA have also expressed interest in the dual-threat signal-caller.

Stay connected with Warchant.com for continuing coverage of the transfer portal.

SIGN UP: Join Warchant’s FSU Community for $1 today

Talk about this story with other die-hard Florida State football fans on the Tribal Council.

The post Transfer Tracker: Three more FSU players to enter portal; high-profile QB plans visit appeared first on On3.

The NCAA transfer portal officially doesn’t officially open until Monday, but there was a flurry…

[1

post-77647","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
