The No. 1 running back in America is set to sign with LSU on Wednesday during the Early Signing Period.<\/p>\n
Harlem Berry<\/a><\/strong>, a New Orleans native who has gone wire-to-wire as On3\u2019s No. 1 running back prospect, will have his announcement ceremony at 9:30 a.m., his father, Harry Berry, tells The Bengal Tiger staff.<\/p>\n LSU\u2019s announcement of Berry as a signee will happen soon after.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re real excited,\u201d Berry\u2019s father said. \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to make this thing official. The LSU staff has made this whole experience unforgettable for our family. Harlem is ready to show up and show out.\u201d<\/p>\n The 5-foot-10, 182-pound Berry pledged to the in-state Tigers on Jan. 3 and has long been established as the top-ranked burner in the 2025 cycle. For a young back, he displays outstanding vision, reads blocks and bursts through the line to the second level. The game moves slow for him at the prep level. He has the ability to run through contact and shows balance that belies his size.
