The Tennessee Volunteers were getting ready to take on the Virginia Cavaliers on Thursday night in the Bahamas. They\u2019re facing off in the second game of the Baha Mar Championship (Nassau, Bahamas). Shortly before tipoff, the Volunteers released some injury news on Cameron Carr and JP Estrella. Both players will not play in the Baha Mar Championship at all. <\/p>\n
Carr is out 4-6 weeks with a left thumb injury he injured in Sunday\u2019s win. Estrella will remain out with a left foot injury. He\u2019ll continue to be evaluated by their medical staff. In their first few games, Carr averaged 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game. Estrella has played in two games this year, averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game.<\/p>\n
The Tennessee and Virginia game got off to a sloppy start, with neither team scoring any points in the first few minutes.<\/p>\n
