NC State<\/a> women\u2019s basketball secured its second commitment of the 2025 recruiting cycle Friday night. Ky\u2019She Lunan<\/a><\/strong>, a four-star point guard from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Millennium High, pledged to the Pack during the fall signing period. <\/p>\n

Standing 5-9, the senior playmaker is the No. 60 recruit in the country, the No. 2 recruit in Arizona and the highest-ranked member of NC State\u2019s class. She previously narrowed her recruitment down to the Pack and Virginia Tech after officially visiting both schools. <\/p>\n

Lunan announced the news during a ceremony at her school. In a previous interview with On3\u2019s Talia Goodman, she spoke extremely highly of the Wolfpack.<\/a> <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve loved watching NC State ever since I started watching\u00a0NCAA\u00a0basketball. I just love the way they play. I feel like they really resemble the way I play. The coaching staff also said that my game relates to them. I\u2019ve been waiting for their offer \u2013 this is the second year. I played last year, but that was when I got hurt, so we still kept in contact. <\/p>\n

\u201cI texted a coach and asked if they were going to watch and they said they\u2019d watch me in July. I had a good viewing period in July and she hit me back and said they love my game and that I\u2019ve gotten even better since last year. She gave me coach\u00a0[Wes] Moore\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>number, and I got my offer a couple of days ago. That was pretty big. That was mainly the school I was waiting for to shut everything down.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lunan picked NC State after taking OVs to West Virginia, Colorado and others. She wrapped up her travel schedule in October with a trip to Arizona. She spent the weekend of Sept. 12 in Raleigh. <\/p>\n

Before cutting her top schools list down to the two ACC finalists, Lunan also considered Tennessee, Syracuse and Texas Tech. During her sophomore season, the guard scored 15 points per game in 11.6 minutes per contest, adding 3 steals and 1.8 blocks per game to her stat sheet. No stats were available for her junior year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d describe myself as very versatile,\u201d Lunan said. \u201cI can defend. I work hard on both ends of the court. I can score on all three levels and I\u2019m a great teammate. I\u2019m unorthodox, so I don\u2019t do normal. I play off reflex, which can be a good or bad thing. I\u2019m focusing on getting into a rhythm\u2026 and on consistency.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lunan is the second commit in NC State\u2019s 2025 class alongside four-star guard Adelaide Jernigan<\/a><\/strong>, who signed with the Wolfpack earlier this week. Both recruits slot into the top-70 of ESPN\u2019s rankings.<\/p>\n
