It\u2019s officially fight night, as Mike Tyson (50-6-2) and Jake Paul (10-1) will step into the squared circle for an eight-round\u00a0heavyweight fight\u00a0on Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.<\/p>\n

In advance of the highly anticipated bout, Tyson\u2019s first sanctioned professional boxing match since his Round 6 defeat to Kevin McBride in June 2005, the two fighters weighed in Thursday at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. After Tyson weighed in at 233 pounds, the former undisputed world heavyweight champion approached Paul for the final stare-down. Paul, who weighed in at a career-high 220 pounds, moved towards Tyson from a crawling stance and stepped on his toe. <\/p>\n

Tyson responded by unleashing an open-hand slap across the face of Paul<\/a>. The 58-year-old said the reason Paul stepped on his toe is because he is a \u201cf***ing a**hole.\u201d Tyson felt he needed to defend himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was in my socks, and he had on shoes,\u201d Tyson told the New York Post<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0\u201cHe stepped on my toe because he is a f***ing a**hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose.\u00a0I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul, 27, is known for his trash talking in hyping up his fights. Tyson\u2019s patience with Paul\u2019s mouth had worn thin, and the toe step was the final straw. <\/p>\n

\u201cJake has been poking the bear the whole time,\u201d a Tyson representative told The Post<\/em>. \u201cMike slapped the s*** out of him.\u201d<\/p>\n

That slap has made things personal for Paul, who addressed the crowd and stated that Tyson \u201cmust die.\u201d <\/p>\n

From Tyson\u2019s perspective, nothing else needs to be said. <\/p>\n

\u201cTalking\u2019s over,\u201d Tyson said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Problem Child\u201d will step into the ring with \u201cThe Baddest Man on the Planet\u201d sometime after 11 p.m. ET. The main card, which includes Tyson vs. Paul, begins at 8 p.m. on Netflix<\/em>. <\/p>\n
