The injury report for this weekend\u2019s gigantic SEC clash between the Alabama Crimson Tide<\/a><\/strong> and Tennessee Volunteers<\/a><\/strong> has been updated on Friday.<\/p>\n

Domani Jackson<\/strong> came off the injury report after being listed as probable earlier in the week. Otherwise, it was more of the same for Alabama, although Yhonzae Pierre<\/strong> was upgraded to probable.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the rivalry between Alabama and Tennessee, the Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 59-39-7. They\u2019ve also won 16 of their last 17 clashes, sans for a memorable trip to Knoxville in 2022, where Hendon Hooker played the role of a hero.<\/p>\n

Can Nico Iamaleava takeover that role in 2024, as Alabama will be looking to avenge that loss to the Volunteers? Last season\u2019s 14-point win helped ease the pain for the Crimson Tide, but the sting won\u2019t truly go away until they win again in Knoxville, and with this being Kalen DeBoer\u2019s first trip to Neyland Stadium, everything is off the table for their Week 8 showdown.<\/p>\n

Time will tell who stands tall at the end of Alabama at Tennessee, but the college football world\u2019s attention will certainly be in Knoxville this weekend. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.<\/p>\n

Malachi Moore reveals if he has a chip on his shoulder after Alabama\u2019s last trip to play Tennessee<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, Malachi Moore<\/a><\/strong> is looking for a bit of revenge as he and Alabama head to Neyland Stadium to face Tennessee on Saturday. The Vols snapped a 15-year losing streak against the Crimson Tide with a last-second field goal the last time the game was played in Knoxville in 2022.<\/p>\n

Moore is one of a handful of players from this year\u2019s team who were there. Asked if he had a chip on his shoulder entering the game, the fifth-year defensive back didn\u2019t sugarcoat things.<\/p>\n

\u201cDefinitely,\u201d Moore said<\/a>. \u201cLast time we went there, we didn\u2019t come out on the right end of things. So that\u2019s definitely a thing that the players that were there is still aware of.\u201d
Alabama won last year\u2019s contest in Tuscaloosa, but the chance to go back and get one on enemy turf is still a motivating factor entering this season\u2019s game. It\u2019s also a matchup that will have implications for the College Football Playoff.<\/p>\n

Both Alabama and Tennessee already have one loss this season and another here would hurt either\u2019s chances of making the expanded 12-team CFP. That adds even more stakes to what is already one of the most heated rivalries in college football.<\/p>\n
