2024 Silsbee (Tex.) wide receiver\u00a0Dre\u2019lon Miller<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is back at\u00a0LSU<\/a>\u00a0for another unofficial visit, which began Friday. The Tigers made his\u00a0Top 9 schools<\/a> earlier this spring along with Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, Duke, Florida, Miami, Georgia, and Penn State.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s fresh off a Miami official visit with a USC official visit next weekend. Miller will make a decision on June 29. Texas A&M is viewed as the other contender and is expected to visit College Station later this month.<\/p>\n

Still, LSU\u2019s right in the mix for a reason.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s WRU there and just the history of LSU like why wouldn\u2019t you like it,\u201d Miller told On3\u2019s Hayes Fawcett of his LSU interest.<\/p>\n

LSU head coach Brian Kelly, wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton and analyst Carter Sheridan all are playing a big role in his recruitment, Miller said previously.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey told me how they want me to be a part of their offense and how they could use me,\u201d Miller said. \u201cI like the way he (Kelly) coaches and how close he is with all his players. He (Hankton) is the best ever. Him and my dad have a great relationship. I like the way he coaches and develops his wide receivers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller got closer with cornerback\u00a0Denver Harris<\/a><\/strong>, linebacker\u00a0Harold Perkins<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and quarterback\u00a0Jayden Daniels<\/a><\/strong>. LSU\u2019s putting the full court press on from the football and now basketball side as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also enjoyed getting closer with the players,\u201d\u00a0he added in an interview with On3\u2019s Sam Spiegelman<\/a>. \u201cThey were just telling me that there\u2019s no better place to be, especially on Saturday night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller checks in as the No. 76 overall player in the country and No. 14 wide receiver in the nation, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. LSU leads the\u00a0On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine<\/a>\u00a0over USC and Texas A&M.<\/p>\n

Miller had an unforgettable junior season. He recorded 1,399 yards of total offense, 21 touchdown catches, 361 yards rushing and also made an impact on special teams.<\/a><\/p>\n
