De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County<\/a><\/strong> four-star offensive tackle Mario Nash<\/a><\/strong> has committed to Florida State<\/a><\/strong>, according to On3\u2019s Hayes Fawcett.<\/p>\n

He chose the Seminoles following his decommitment from Mississippi State on Oct. 7.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder is the No. 270 overall prospect and No. 22 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a><\/strong>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He\u2019s also the No. 9 player in Mississippi.<\/p>\n

Nash took an official visit to Tallahassee the weekend before decommitting from Mississippi State. When speaking with Warchant<\/a><\/strong> after the visit, Nash noted that his recruitment was still open and the Noles were in the mix. Now, he becomes a welcomed addition for head coach Mike Norvell<\/a><\/strong>, OL coach Alex Atkins<\/a><\/strong> and Co.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, Coach Atkins, me and his relationship, we [have been] cool since like day one since they first offered me,\u201d Nash said.<\/p>\n

The offensive line is a strength of FSU\u2019s class, as Nash now joins five-star interior lineman Solomon Thomas<\/a><\/strong> and four-star IOL Peyton Joseph<\/a><\/strong> as some of the top pledges in the mix for the ACC program.<\/p>\n

Seminoles back up to 11 commitments this cycle<\/h2>\n

Earlier on Thursday, Florida State lost a pledge from Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon<\/a><\/strong>, who flipped to Texas. Nash\u2019s pledge brings Norvell and Co. back to 11 commitments this cycle.<\/p>\n

The class is now back to No. 18 in the nation and No. 3 in the ACC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Five-star interior offensive lineman\u00a0Solomon Thomas<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0remains the headliner as the nation\u2019s No. 19 recruit and top-ranked IOL. Four-star WR\u00a0CJ Wiley<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is now the lone receiver in the class but is coming off a game visit to Georgia. He\u2019s the No. 80 prospect in the On300.<\/p>\n

\u201cThomas is a big-bodied, physical offensive lineman with versatility and one of the higher floors in what is a loaded cycle at the position,\u201d\u00a0On3 writes of the five-star<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cMeasured in at around 6-foot-3.5, 315 pounds prior to his senior season. Touts elite length with 35.75-inch arms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other top commits in the class include four-star defensive lineman\u00a0Kevin Wynn<\/a><\/strong>, four-star IOL\u00a0Peyton Joseph<\/a><\/strong>, four-star running back\u00a0Byron Louis<\/a><\/strong>, four-star quarterback\u00a0Tramell Jones<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and four-star safety\u00a0Gregory Thomas<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
