CB\/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado Travis Hunter:<\/strong> It\u2019s going to be a battle having Hunter high on this list when Colorado starts losing more games later in the season, but Hunter is probably the best player in college football and made game-altering plays to help the Buffs beat Baylor Saturday night. He should go to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony even if Colorado turns out to stink.<\/p>\n Cam Ward:<\/strong> Another week, another huge Ward performance. He threw for more than 400 yards in a win over USF over the weekend. If he\u2019s the reason \u2018The U\u2019 comes back this year, he has a real chance to win the award.<\/p>\n Jalen Milroe:<\/strong> Alabama\u2019s quarterback looked really good in a win over Wisconsin<\/a><\/strong> last weekend. If he\u2019s as improved as he looks and it shows on the field next weekend against Georgia<\/a><\/strong>, Milroe Mania is going to take off.<\/p>\n 1. QB Cam Ward, Miami Cam Ward: <\/strong>Miami\u2019s transfer had another 400-yard, three-touchdown night and is playing with such swagger that he\u2019s telling what play is coming and that they still can\u2019t stop it. And USF couldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n Travis Hunter:<\/strong> Book this man a ticket to New York City today. Another 130 yards receiving, a circus catch that didn\u2019t count and the game-winning forced fumble. QB Cam Ward, Miami Cam Ward:<\/strong> He cruised through non-conference play, looking like the top signal caller in college football through four weeks. He leads the nation in passing touchdowns and is second in passing efficiency.<\/p>\n Travis Hunter:<\/strong> Hunter is a unique player in recent college football history, affecting the game in so many ways. We saw this on Saturday night as he was Colorado\u2019s leading receiver and forced the game-winning fumble in overtime.<\/p>\n Ashton Jeanty:<\/strong> Jeanty continues to dominate the competition. The projected early round draft pick is averaging 10.46 yards per carry and is second nationally in rushing touchdowns despite playing 1.5 less games than most other running backs.<\/p>\n 1. QB Cam Ward, Miami Cam Ward: <\/strong>Ward went for 400 yards and three touchdowns against scrappy USF. Will play more formidable competition in the future but with Quinn Ewers<\/a><\/strong> out, he\u2019s the lead horse.<\/p>\n Travis Hunter:<\/strong> If Hunter isn\u2019t a Heisman Trophy finalist, we\u2019re giving this award out incorrectly. Over 100 yards receiving (again) and the game-winning forced fumble.<\/p>\n Jalen Milroe:<\/strong> The Tide were off this week but has a massive opportunity to claim pole position of the Heisman race when Georgia comes to town.
