The season opener for the 15th-ranked Vols against Chattanooga is officially sold out, athletic director Danny White <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/home\">announced on social media on Monday morning<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s game is scheduled for a 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time kickoff and will be televised by SEC Network.<\/p>\n<p>Neyland Stadium has been sold out for 13 straight home games, dating back to a 63-6 win over Akron on September 17, 2022. All seven home games last season were sold out and the final six home games of the 2022 season were capacity crowds.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee has now sold out six of its seven home games, with limited single-game tickets available for the November 23 home game against UTEP. White announced earlier this month that five games \u2014 Kent State, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi State \u2014 were already sold out, with limited tickets available for Chattanooga and UTEP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVol Nation, y\u2019all continue to amaze me,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AD_DannyWhite\/status\/1824054683201409259\/photo\/1\">White wrote on social media<\/a>. \u201cLet\u2019s sell the entire season out again!\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vols have sold out season tickets two straight years, 15,000+ on season-ticket interest list<\/h2>\n<p>Tennessee led the SEC in total home attendance (713,405) and average home attendance (101,915) last season. The Vols were ranked third and fourth nationally in those categories, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This season marks the third time in 23 years that Tennessee has sold out football season tickets, doing so last May and in August 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was announced in April that Tennessee had sold out its season-ticket allotment of 70,500 for a second straight season and at the time there was a \u201cseason ticket interest list\u201d of 15,000 fans.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018We\u2019re fortunate at Tennessee to have what I believe to be the best fanbase in sport\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>After the season-opener against Chattanooga, Tennessee goes to Charlotte for a neutral-site game against North Carolina State on September 7 (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC) at Bank of America Stadium in the Duke\u2019s Mayo Classic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Vols return home to face Kent State on September 14 (7:45 p.m. ET, SEC Network) and will play four straight SEC home games later in the season, against Florida (October 12), Alabama (October 19), Kentucky (November 2) and Mississippi State (November 9), with a open date on October 26 splitting the four-game run.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee\u2019s home finale is against UTEP on November 23 (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network+\/ESPN+).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople around the country are trying to figure out how to make their stadiums smaller,\u201d White said during the Big Orange Caravan stop in Nashville in April. \u201cWe\u2019re 102,000 strong and sold out for the season.\u00a0We\u2019re fortunate at Tennessee to have what I believe to be the best fanbase in sport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/tennessee-volunteers\/news\/neyland-stadium-soldout-chattanooga-tennessee-vols-football-sellout-streak\/\">Tennessee extends Neyland Stadium sellout streak in season opener vs. Chattanooga<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/\">On3<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tennessee Football\u2018s sellout streak at Neyland Stadium will continue on Saturday.
