Florida State continued game week preparation on Wednesday morning, their final in Tallahassee, as the team prepares for Georgia Tech and a transatlantic flight later in the evening.<\/p>\n

Following the 23rd practice of the preseason, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and quarterback DJ Uiagalelei discussed the week of practice, the team\u2019s confidence for the opener and the matchup vs. Georgia Tech.<\/p>\n

Norvell classified this stretch as \u201creally good game prep over this last week and a half.\u201d Norvell added, \u201cI\u2019m pleased with the receiver position. Those guys are ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team plans to practice on Thursday in Dublin, Ireland followed by a Friday walk-through.<\/p>\n

Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Seminoles finished the 2023 season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year\u2019s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.<\/p>\n

Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.<\/p>\n
