This year\u2019s event takes place on Saturday, December 21 at Madison Square Garden. UCLA faces North Carolina in the first game of the doubleheader at 3 p.m. ET. Kentucky vs. Ohio State will take the floor thirty minutes after the conclusion of that game, so around 5:30 p.m. If you can\u2019t be there in person, you can watch on CBS or stream on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
Ohio State has a 2-0 edge over Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic, winning the 2015 game in the Barclays Center (74-67) and the 2019 game in Las Vegas (71-65). The last time the event was in Madison Square Garden was 2022, when Kentucky lost to UCLA 63-53. The Cats are an even 5-5 in the CBS Sports Classic overall.<\/p>\n
Of course, from the head coach to the roster, this year\u2019s Kentucky team is completely different than the one that beat North Carolina in last year\u2019s CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta; however, there will be a familiar face on the Buckeyes\u2019 sideline. Aaron Bradshaw<\/a><\/strong> transferred to Ohio State in April<\/a> after John Calipari left for Arkansas. Bradshaw averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in his lone season at Kentucky.
