COLUMBUS \u2014 Ohio State is always recruiting the best talent in the country. But the Buckeyes start off in their backyard and scope the talent in the great state of Ohio.<\/p>\n
On3 released its initial top 100<\/a> for the 2027 prospects and three in-state prospects are on the list. All three of them are listed as four-star prospects for now.<\/p>\n Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph<\/a> tight end D\u2019Angelo White<\/a>, Akron Archbishop Hoban<\/a> ATH Brayton Feister<\/a> and Cincinnati Anderson<\/a> EDGE Antwoine Higgins<\/a> all cracked the list.<\/p>\n Lettermen Row<\/a> has details on all three prospects and where they stand with the Buckeyes.<\/p>\n D\u2019Angelo White camped at Ohio State this summer and was more than impressive at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect turned in a great workout and earned an offer from the Ohio State coaching brass.<\/p>\n \u201cIt means a lot because it\u2019s one of my dream schools to go to,\u201d White told Lettermen Row<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI just like the team, coaches, the facility and everything about Ohio State.\u201d<\/p>\n White is teammates with four-star 2025 running back and Ohio State commit Bo Jackson. White plans on attending at least one game in Ohio Stadium this fall. He is one of two 2027 tight ends with an Ohio State offer, joining Dexter<\/a> (Mich) prospect Holden Niemi<\/a>.<\/p>\n Brayton Feister plays a little bit of everything for the talented-rich Hoban program. He primarily lines up at running back and linebacker, however.<\/p>\n Ohio State has already offered six running backs in the 2027 cycle and it\u2019s offered five linebackers. The Buckeyes pay close attention to everything happening at Hoban, however, and he is a name that\u2019s certainly circled within the Woody.<\/p>\n Antwoine Higgins is a prospect on the Buckeyes\u2019 radar. He camped at Ohio State over the summer, and while he didn\u2019t earn an offer, his recruitment has only just begun.<\/p>\n The 6-foot-3, 202-pound Ohioan holds offers from Michigan, Cincinnati, Kentucky and West Virginia among others.
