Many are waiting for the recruitment of Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis<\/a><\/strong> to reach its finale. Coming up on a year since he committed to USC<\/a><\/strong>, Lewis continues to be pursued by the likes of Colorado<\/a><\/strong> and Indiana<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When speaking with ESPN\u2019s Craig Haubert ahead of his season-opening game at Woodward Academy on Friday night, Lewis updated where things stand in his recruitment:<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of right now, I\u2019m still locked in with USC. That\u2019s still where my home is. Taking visits is kind of a part of the process, I was going to go see what\u2019s going on everywhere else, but I\u2019m still USC right now,\u201d Lewis said.<\/p>\n

Official visits have been logged to Indiana, Auburn, Colorado and USC. The Trojans have hung on to Lewis\u2019 pledge, but buzz continues to circulate \u2014 mostly around the Buffaloes and Hoosiers. Reports have also circulated around USC being in contact with Texas A&M five-star QB commit Husan Longstreet<\/a><\/strong>, leading many to wonder if Lewis will shut down his process before the season ramps up.<\/p>\n

While Lewis remains locked in, he did mention that fall visits were a possibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me personally, when I committed it was for coach (Lincoln) Riley. I knew he was an offensive guru, that\u2019s kind of been his thing is quarterbacks. Going out there to get developed by him is probably one of the best places you can be,\u201d Lewis said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll probably hit a couple games, I don\u2019t know in specific, but I\u2019ll probably go around a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The latest on Lewis\u2019 recruitment<\/h2>\n

Earlier this week, On3\u2019s Steve Wiltfong delivered the latest on where things stand in Lewis\u2019 recruitment:<\/p>\n

\u201cJulian Lewis has long been committed to USC. I think that Lincoln Riley and company are working to try and get him to shut down this process and 100% lock in with the Trojans,\u201d Wiltfong said. \u201cIf they do that, they will stop flirting with (Texas A&M commit) Husan Longstreet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lewis is the No. 23 overall prospect and No. 4 QB in the 2025 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a><\/strong>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He\u2019s also the No. 4 player in Georgia.<\/p>\n

Plays in an offense that often leans on the quick passing game. The youngest top quarterback prospect in the 2025 cycle, turning 17 years-old a month into his senior season.\u201d<\/p>\n
