Getting closer and closer to the OU football season. But that also means getting closer and closer to the NFL season.<\/p>\n
The first full week of the preseason is in the books. And no, some of the usual names did not play. However, it was an opportunity for plenty of guys.<\/p>\n
And some of them definitely began things with a splash. Either at a new home or a first opportunity, there are Sooners galore in the NFL.<\/p>\n
Eric Gray<\/a><\/strong> (Giants) \u2013 That\u2019s one way to begin your second season. Gray rushed for 52 yards on just four attempts with two touchdowns. He also added four receptions for 46 yards, catching all four targets.<\/p>\n Rhamondre Stevenson (Patriots) \u2013 New England doesn\u2019t need to know too much about Dre, one carry for 11 yards to begin his preseason.<\/p>\n Curtis Bolton (Dolphins) \u2013 Bolton hoping to make another run, had four tackles over the weekend.<\/p>\n Neville Gallimore (Dolphins) \u2013 Second stop for Gallimore, no longer with the Cowboys and had a tackle for loss.<\/p>\n Grant Calcaterra (Eagles) \u2013 Two receptions for 14 yards as Philadelphia gave Jalen Hurts the night off.<\/p>\n Austin Seibert (Jets) \u2013 Connected on lone field goal (37 yards) and one extra point.<\/p>\n Brian Asamoah (Vikings) \u2013 Had four tackles and .5 tackles for loss as he tries to play a bigger role for Minnesota.<\/p>\n Jalen Redmond (Vikings) \u2013 Getting his initial crack at the NFL, Redmond had a tackle for loss.<\/p>\n Mike Woods (Browns) \u2013 Two catches for 22 yards.<\/p>\n Marquise Brown (Chiefs) \u2013 One catch for 11 yards, out indefinitely with an injury.<\/p>\n Kenneth Murray (Titans) \u2013 One tackle.<\/p>\n Marvin Mims (Broncos) \u2013 Two receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n Jonah Laulu (Colts) \u2013 One tackle, welcome to the NFL.<\/p>\n Drake Stoops (Rams) \u2013 Three catches for 27 yards on four targets.
