He committed to North Carolina back on March 21.

Georgia came in and offered a month later. Kruah took an official visit to Georgia back on June 21. Kruah is already planning his next trip to see Georgia. He will ‘probably’ be in Atlanta to watch Georgia face Clemson on Aug. 31 in Mercedez-Benz Stadium.

The Bulldogs have been on Kruah’s mind for some time.

“Georgia is my dream school,” Kruah said.

Things are more complex than simply following a dream offer for Kruah. He’s got a plan in place to work through things and reach a ‘final decision’ at some point this fall.

“There are a lot of things in my head right now,” Kruah said. “I’m just going to let it sit until I can come to a final decision… It’s really just about me continuing to be dominant on the field and as I see myself getting better. God is going to send it into my heart and then I’m going to make a decision again.”

Anthony Kruah growing close to Glenn Schumann

He’s committed to North Carolina, but Georgia’s defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann has been pursuing. Schumann’s approach has been a major plus for Georgia.

The Bulldogs’ defensive coordinator has been respectful, he’s pursued hard but Kruah hasn’t felt pressured.

“We mostly talk football,” Kruah said. “He’s not pushing me to recruit me, he gave me that space to let me think about it, which I really respect. We’re still building that connection.”

Kruah has been appreciative of the space Schumann has given him to think and take in the options he has. The connection between Kruah and Schumann is real. It goes beyond the football field. The connection he feels with Schumann is something Kruah would like to have in his life long term.

“I talk to Schumann a lot, he’s a great guy and he’s definitely someone that I want to keep in my life for sure,” Kruah said. “Every other day we talk.”

North Carolina commit a priority in Athens

Georgia has been clear that Kruah is a priority in Athens. The Bulldogs have signed three linebackers in the last two classes.

There is one committed at the moment in the class of 2025 and that is five-star Zayden Walker. Four-star Jadon Perlotte flipped his pledge from Georgia to USC two weeks ago.

Kruah admits there was a little excitement on his end seeing another linebacker spot in Georgia’s class open up. Georgia had been in heavy pursuit before but knowing that there was another spot available checked another box on Kruah’s board.

He’s not worried about the depth chart that’s currently in Athens. Kruah believes in his ability.

“I really was never concerned with the depth chart because I know my talent and me against those guys, I always got me,” Kruah said. “Him decommitting sat well with me because I knew that there is an extra space for me. It’s a lot of thinking (to be done).”

Official visit still in mind of in-state linebacker

Kruah is well nearly two months removed from his official visit to Georgia. There are a still few things that still stand out. There’s one thing in particular that brings a big grin to Kruah’s face.

“The food, I love to eat,” Krauh said with a laugh.

On a serious note, Kruah admitted the honesty that Georgia showed that weekend and throughout the process has been big for him.

“Them being transparent with me and him giving me space and being respectful, they’ve never talked bad about UNC,” Kruah said. “I felt comfortable there too. That was a big thing.”

The post North Carolina LB commit Anthony Kruah torn as Georgia pursues appeared first on On3.

Marietta (Ga.) three-star North Carolina linebacker commit Anthony Kruah wrestles with his recruitment every day….

[1

post-64942","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
