Nick Brooks<\/a><\/strong> was at one time committed to Iowa<\/a><\/strong>, but he recently moved back to Georgia from the Hawkeye State and he is closing in on a decision. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am down to Georgia<\/a><\/strong>, Texas<\/a><\/strong> and USC<\/a><\/strong>,\u201d Brooks told On3. \u201cI had great official visits to all three schools and all three schools have done a great job recruiting me. The coaches at each school are strong, I have relationships with them and I am close to committing to one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooks doesn\u2019t have a set date yet, but that is coming soon. The No. 208 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking<\/a><\/strong> is eyeing Aug. 23 or Aug. 30 as his commitment date. He knows it is coming soon. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt could be any of the three schools today. I am going to keep talking to the coaches at all three schools, make sure I have all my questions answered and then go over things with my family. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt different times, I have the different schools on top of my list. It has been fluid because of the relationships and how I like all three a lot, but I want to make a decision soon. <\/p>\n

\u201cI thought I would be committed already, but I know it is coming this month.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other than talks with his family, what will be important to the 6-foot-7, 360-pound four-star at Loganville (Ga.) Grayson<\/a><\/strong> when he commits?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe No. 1 thing for me is the chance to play and compete for early playing time,\u201d Brooks said. \u201cNIL is important too, and that would be No. 2 on my list. Then it comes down to relationships, family and how I feel about the school. <\/p>\n

\u201cFamily is very important to me, so that family feeling and what school makes me and my family feel best will be a factor.\u201d<\/p>\n
